Dining in Brevard County

Dining in Brevard County is a culinary experience.  You will find that Brevard County stretches from Titusville in the north to Palm Bay in the southern end of the county.  The Cities in between are Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, Viera, Melbourne, West Melbourne, Satellite Beach, Indialantic and Palm Bay. The restaurants mentioned below are only a tip of the iceberg.  Although there  are several other restaurants that you may want to try, today we are going to take you on a tour that will highlight the unique, along with the some chain restaurants that provide a great dining experience in Brevard County.

We begin our tour in the Titusville area, the center of NASA and the space industry.  The Dixie Crossroads Restaurant is a long time Titusville establishment that is located on Park Avenue. This restaurant offers fresh and excellent seafood dishes along with beef and chicken dishes.  The restaurant is affiliated with the Wild Ocean Seafood Market and this affiliation ensures the freshest seafood at all times.  We now drive south to the Cocoa area. Cocoa has a unique and historic downtown consisting of specialty shops and the finest eateries.  Many residents believe that Caf Margaux serves the best French cuisine in the area.  Each dish is a masterpiece of artistic plating and culinary goodness.  The Cara Mia Riverside Grill, which is located north of the downtown area offers the best Italian cuisine and has a bonus for diners - a spectacular view of the Indian River.  

Driving south, we enter the Viera area.  Viera has variety of eateries located in the Avenues of Viera.  A unique restaurant in this area is the Melting Pot, which specializes in fondue cooking.  Different meats, poultry, and fish are cooked by each person individually in an oil or flavored sauce of their choosing.  Salads and vegetables are provided as an accompaniment to the dinners.  A chocolate fondue is served as the finale with fresh fruits, cheese cake, and marshmallows .  The Pizza Gallery is located a short walk away from the Melting Pot and this restaurant offers a hugh selection of pizzas made with practically any combination of meat, vegetables or fruit you can imagine.  Dinners can also choose from a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, or pasta.dishes.

Continuing our tour south, Melbourne offers a newly renovated downtown area complete with eateries ranging from Irish, Spanish, Italian,to American cuisine and all within walking distance from each other.  Looking for great seafood?  The Chart House Restaurant is located on the Indian River offering upscale dining with a view.  Located on Wickham Road are two premium chain restaurants, The Outback Restaurant and Carabbas Italian Grill.  Each has consistently provided a wonderful dining and service experience to the residents of Melbourne and the neighboring cities.  Their food is of the highest quality and the service is exceptional.

Brevard County Ocean front dining along Route A1A runs the gamut from superb seafood restaurants to small cafes, all terrific ocean views.  The Cocoa Beach Pier has a wonderful Sunday Brunch and is located over the ocean which provides panoramic views of the ocean and beach area...  Coconuts on the Beach is another eatery directly on the beach with an open deck area adjacent to the ocean where swimmers and sunbathers can get something to eat and drink without walking very far from the water...  The Crown Plaza hotel in Melbourne offers Jazz night on Wednesdays with great local and national jazz talent.  The outside deck is where people meet and enjoy gourmet or casual food and drink while experiencing true ocean front dining.
